Maharashtrian supremacism in the lead

[edit]

The lead is sporting an outdated black and white picture of Maharashtri sari which is not worn by a majority of women in the subcontinent or south Asian context. The lead should ideally not be a WP:Soap for promotion of Maharashtra's culture as the mainstream. The picture should be moved to the types or styles of sari section in the article. 2402:8100:25C4:DE9C:0:0:8B37:6218 (talk) 08:39, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Unsure of intended word -- Varies / Various / Varied

[edit]

The starting word of this sentence seems out of place "Varies styles of decorative traditional embroidery like gota patti, mochi, pakko, kharak, suf, kathi, phulkari and gamthi are done on cholis.". Unsure if the intended word was Various or Varied. 14.2.63.136 (talk) 01:00, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
